to come to the UK for longer than 6 months<\/span><\/strong><\/h5><\/li><li><h5><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">extend your visa to longer than 6 months<\/span><\/strong><\/h5><\/li><li><h5><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">apply to settle in the UK<\/span><\/strong><\/h5><\/li><li><h5><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/transfer-visa\">transfer your visa to a new passport<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/h5><\/li><\/ul><h5><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">You do not have to apply separately for a BRP. You\u2019ll get one automatically if your visa or immigration application is approved, or you\u2019re replacing an older document.<\/span><\/strong><\/h5><h5><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">What\u2019s on your BRP Card<br \/><\/span><\/strong><\/h5><h5><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Your BRP will include:<\/span><\/strong><\/h5><ul><li><h5><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">your name, date and place of birth<\/span><\/strong><\/h5><\/li><li><h5><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">your fingerprints and a photo of your face (this is your <u><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/biometric-residence-permits\/personal-data\">biometric information<\/a><\/u>)<\/span><\/strong><\/h5><\/li><li><h5><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">your immigration status and any conditions of your stay<\/span><\/strong><\/h5><\/li><li><h5><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">whether you can access public funds, for example benefits and health services<\/span><\/strong><\/h5><\/li><\/ul><h5><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">You may have a National Insurance (NI) number printed on the back of your BRP.
